Cooking with Kivi
During COVID-19, the Headteacher and his son Kivi recorded a number of ‘Cooking with Kivi‘ sessions in their home. You can still join Chef Kivi Sager in the kitchen as he takes Pardes boys through his very own tasty, special home-cooking recipes, assisted by… your Headteacher!

Pre-Shavuos SPECIAL!!!… Auntie Tsivia’s Dulche de Leche Cheesecake!
(ingredients: pot of whipping cream, tube of baking cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of vanilla flavour pudding powder, pie base, pot of Dulche de Leche spread)
ENGLISH FISH AND CHIPS (WITH MUSHY PEAS) – The healthy version
(ingredients: plain flour, 2 eggs, breadcrumbs, fish fillets – cod recommended, cooking spray, home-made chips – made from regular potatoes/sweet potatoes etc)
DIY HAMANTASCHEN
(ingredients: 3/4 cup of oil, 1 cup of sugar, 2 eggs, 4 cups of flour, 2 tsps of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1tsp vanilla essence, 1/4 cup of orange juice, 2 tsps of lemon juice and… any flavours you like! Chef Kivi used chocolate, chocolate spread, Lotus spread, peanut butter & strawberry jam. Additional toppings: marshmallows, chocolate chips & sprinkles)
HOME BAKED 12″ ITALIAN PIZZA
(ingredients: 1 packet of yeast, 2 tbsp of honey, 1 cup of warm water, 3 1/2 cups of plain flour, 1 tsp of salt, 1/4 cup of oil, pizza or pasta sauce, grated cheese and any toppings you like!). CLICK HERE TO READ SOME COOL PIZZA FACTS!
CHOCOLATE SOUFFLÉS
(ingredients will make 8 – 10 soufflés: 4 eggs, 2/3 cup of flour, 3/4 cup of sugar, 160g of baking chocolate, 160g of butter/margarine)
FLUFFY PANCAKES
(ingredients will make up to 12 pancakes: 1 3/4 cup of flour, 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 tsp of salt, 1 1/2 cups of milk, 2 eggs)
